Since the very beginning of the Coffeeshop Company, Aiden has been a part of our team and soon after his start, he launched the famous Dark Choco Late.

Aiden is no ordinary barista; he is a world traveler who finds joy in traveling to different countries and experiencing new flavors. One of his most exciting trips took him to the deep forests of the Dominican Republic, where he discovered the origins of cacao.

While in the Caribbean, Aiden had the opportunity to experience the fascinating history of cacao and its importance to the native culture.

He was able to see how cacao was carefully harvested and processed by farmers, and how it was then made into a variety of delicious chocolate products. But what impressed him most was the deep, rich flavor of the fresh cacao he tasted on site.

After returning home, the memory of the taste and aromas of the cocoa wouldn’t leave him. Aiden felt inspired to turn this unique taste experience into a special drink that Coffeeshop Company guests could enjoy.

Aiden selected creamy milk and a delicious cacao powder that he had picked up from the Dominican Republic. The secret was the cocoa, which is known worldwide as a highly aromatic fine cocoa.
